• 10 Celebs Beauty Secret

Kristen Stewart rocked up to the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week looking like a true fashionista. The Twilight saga star may not have followed the super-glam route towards becoming a grown-up style queen, but we love that she's got an edgy style and she's sticking with it. So what's her top beauty secret? ‘When I'm not working I don't wear a lot of make-up,' Kristen reveals. I'm a "mascara and no foundation" type. 'If I want a little more, I'll give myself raccoon eyes with black pencil. That's it.' Kristen's new trick to instant glam is red lippy. ‘I'm starting to carry a bag and even put on lipstick. Very mature for me!' she jokes.
Cheryl Cole may have been worried she'd slip on stage in the rain at her gig in Copenhagen. But she didn't have to worry about her smoky eye make-up running as it stayed put throughout her performance. Cheryl went for her signature eye look on stage, where she always uses a liquid liner across the top of her lashes and adds tons of mascara. ‘I apply multiple layers for the full effect. I don't go as crazy as I used to, but I do like the false eyelash look so I've been using L'Oréal False Lash Telescopic Mascara [£10.99],' says Cheryl. 'It's got four different sides to the wand, so you don't use as much.' Sounds like listening to Cheryl's beauty advice is totally worth it!
Transformers actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed off her picture-perfect tresses on The Jonathan Ross Show last week. And now the model has launched her first lingerie collection, Rosie for Autograph at Marks & Spencer, in London with the same lush waves. The combo of bouncy and wavy is a great look for special events - or anytime you want to look amazing. Start by blow-drying your hair as smooth as possible. Then, using large-barrelled tongs, wrap sections of hair away from the face. While it's still warm, run your fingers through to loosen the curls. Finish with hairspray to ensure your waves retain their bounce.
It looks like beauty brand Max Factor is returning to its Hollywood roots by signing Gwyneth Paltrow as its new face. Gwyneth, 39, will star in a six month ad campaign for the beauty brand, starting in November. The ads will create glamour statements that cover every aspect of her life - as a model, actress, mother and singer. Last night Gwyneth hosted the Obama Victory Fund 2012 event in London with US Vogue editor Anna Wintour and designer Tom Ford. She looked stunning in a white dress and her face glowed - it was easy to see why the cosmetic giant Max Factor chose her to represent the brand. The Hollywood star hasn't been a face of a make-up brand since she left Estée Lauder to concentrate on building up her lifestyle website Goop, which makes this announcement really exciting news. Plus, Gwynnie will be a natural beauty inspiration for us older girlies!
After crackled, snakeskin and 3D, the latest nail trend to hit the mani scene is a textured matt effect reminiscent of crushed velvet. Nail art has been huge in 2012 with celebs such as Rihanna and Jessie J setting the bar high. But it looks like nails are heading back to simple and chic. Newly married Blake Lively (AKA Mrs Ryan Reynolds), showed off her $2 million engagement ring with her Ciaté Velvet Manicure in Manhattan recently. Ciaté Velvet Manicure Set contains everything you need. Apply one coat of the polish, then sprinkle the velvet powder across the nails and leave to dry. It comes in Blue Suede, Mink Cashmere and Berry Poncho.
The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence matches her gothic berry lips to her gorgeous Dior Couture dress at the Silver Linings Playbook premiere at the Canadian Film Festival. Prep lips with lip balm to ensure you get a smooth, perfect pout using Vaseline Pink Bubbly, £3.49. For a perfect shape and staying power, line and fill in lips with liner, Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Contouring Pencil in Black Tulip, £2.99. Apply the berry shade, Estée Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Black Cassis, £19.50, over the liner, blot and add another coat.
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton adds a girly flush with perfect peach blusher while on the Diamond Jubilee Tour in the Solomon Islands. Nothing adds the pretty factor to your make-up look like a flush of blush. Use a light one for daytime and layer it up for a more dramatic look at night. First blend a cream blusher into the apples of the cheeks with your fingers. Then use a big blusher brush to apply a powder blusher over the top. The cream base will stick to your foundation and the powder will stick to the cream, giving your blusher the ultimate staying power.
This season, forget brights and bling - what's cool now is 3D nail tips. The French mani has been given an update and the only way to wear nude nails is with a metallic foil tip like Total Recall star Jessica Biel. Here's how to get the look: 1. Paint nails in your fave nude polish - try Leighton Denny Nail Colour in Leading Lady, £11. 2. Cut the tips off a metallic nail foil or sticker (try L'Oréal Color Riche Nail Art, £9.99, available in Boots later this month) and press on to nails and file off the excess.
Total Recall actress Jessica Biel rocked funky nails at the film's premiere in London. The actress, who is engaged to Justin Timberlake, chose a diagonal manicure to show off her sparkler. Get Jessica's look... 1 Apply two layers of a soft pink Essie Nail Polish in Fiji, £7.99, over a layer of base coat. 2 Paint a diagonal line down to the side with a hot pink, Models Own Nail Polish in Sophie's Pink, £5 and fill in the gap. 3 Finish with a super-glossy Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, £10.95.
Katy Perry's had a style overhaul - gone are the quirky colours and childlike make-up she was famous for while married to Russell Brand. In their place is a new sophisticated look. The singer was out last night for the first time in a while at a viewing for jewellery designer J Molinari's Addicted collection for Jason of Beverly Hills at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in LA. The evening before the event, Katy had been spotted out with new flame John Mayer – perhaps that's why she looked so glowing last night.

• 10 Photos- Harper Seven: Inside Her Wardrobe

The youngest Beckham may only be one year old, but she's already got more style cred than your average fash-obsessed 20-something * By Glamour

September 2012 Ah, if only we all had those strong arms to pick us up and carry us when we wanted to kick off our shoes. Harper stepped out for a spot of retail therapy with daddy David in LA, making the most of the late summer sun in a cute printed sundress.
September 2012 Nice try, Victoria, but Harper’s look is the one that gets our vote here! A strappy cami and harem combo FTW.
August 2012 It was the business of fashion as usual as Harper Seven stepped out into the LA sunshine in her favourite Chloé spring/summer 2012 sandals. An all-black clad Victoria was spotted taking her to enjoy birthday festivities with a little friend at Giggles N’ Hugs.
June 2012 Harper Seven took a real fashion risk when she paired this avante guard Minnie Mouse headgear with a simple cotton and lace slip dress during a visit to Disneyland. Ever the fashion pro, however, she pulled off the look with ease, and even threw in a sherbet straw accessory for good measure.
April 2012 Lunch at Nobu, daarrrling? Harper Seven wouldn’t be seen eating anywhere else. Miss Beckham looked particularly demure in a chic white cardi and polka dot dress, too – the perfect outfit to tackle the Beverly Hills heat in style.
April 2012 No Ugg boots and trackies for Harper Seven - the airport is her runway! We love this cute floral frock and white pumps she wore on a spring trip to Beijing.
February 2012 There aren’t many gals who could pull off a knitted grey dress and white bonnet quite like Harper Seven did as she headed in to take up her seat on the front row of her mum’s New York fashion show. Watch and learn, toddlelistas. Watch. And. Learn.
February 2012 How to pull off grey-on-grey and not make it look as dull as dishwater? Take a leaf out of Harper’s tiny book and add a bow for a touch of feminine detailing. Such a pro.
November 2011 Vaudeville stripes in purple and grey? Shouldn’t have worked. But when you’re a seasoned fashionista like Harper Seven, it’s a walk in the park. Or through LAX Airport. Or wherever. Who walks anyway when you can be slung on your designer mum’s hip and be carried in style?
November 2011 Chloe tights? ‘Nuff said.

• 20 Celebrity Court Style

Sometimes, people need go to court: for jury service, as witnesses, when they've been caught out. Celebs are no different - although their wardrobe choice are sometimes a little, ahem, unconventional for the occasion. We examine some of the most memorable * By Leisa Barnett

Tulisa Contostavlos "This time, Justin messed with the wrong woman," proclaimed Tulisa Contostavlos as she left London's High Court having successfully settled her case with ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards, who infamously leaked a sex tape of the X Factor judge and N-Dubz star online. She wore a mature-yet-stylish floral top teamed with tailored black shorts and a pastel blazer for the occasion - no messing, indeed.
Linda Evangelista Linda Evangelista looked like she meant business in this natty navy suit and leopard-print stilettos, as she was seen exiting the Family Court in New York. The supermodel had been signing legal papers after settling her child support case with Salma Hayek’s husband, Francois-Henri Pinault. The model will receive £28,000 a month from the fashion businessman for the upkeep of their son, Augustin.
Naomi Campbell In an assault-related outing to court in June 2006, Naomi Campbell opted for a simple black sheath dress and oversized sunglasses – a fashion blueprint of feminine staples she would refer to again for various later appearances.
Paris Hilton Accused in a federal lawsuit of failing to adequately promote her 2006 movie Pledge This!, Paris Hilton wore a demure monochrome dress with black heeled pumps and a black Alice band – a fashion formula she’d come to rely on again and again.
Cheryl Cole Oh dear. We bet the glossy Cheryl Cole of 2011 would do anything to wish away this court appearance - and the outfit she made it in. In 2003, the Girls Aloud star stood before a jury in a pair of jeans teamed with a pink shirt and matching jacket to be cleared of racially aggravated assault against a toilet attendant in a Guildford nightclub - but was found guilty of actual bodily harm.
Lindsay Lohan In January 2011, Lindsay Lohan wore a figure-hugging white tube dress and bare legs for a court appearance. A risqué choice, perhaps – but at least she didn’t have expletives etched onto her fingernails, as per her previous hearing...
Nicole Richie Nicole Richie arrived at court on the arm of her boyfriend Joel Madden wearing a structured black dress that daringly bared her shoulders in July 2007. The Simple Life star pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Kirsten Dunst Kirsten Dunst showed how it’s done, A-list style, last June. When the actress had to attend court for the retrial of a fan accused of stealing her $2,000 purse during a Manhattan movie shoot, she wore a simple black coat, ‘quiet luxe’ designer accessories and a sombre expression to side-step the paps outside.
Rihanna For once, it wasn't Rihanna's style that had the world a-chatter in June 2009. The usually-flamboyant popstrel attended court carrying a satchel and wearing a textured black dress with a string of pearls to see her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown plead guilty to assaulting her.
Katie Price In October 2007, Katie Price – or Jordan as she was more commonly known then – went to court to see her children’s ex-nanny, Joanne Hillman, go on trial for benefit fraud. She left her trademark pink and sparkles at home, instead opting for a sober top-to-toe black ensemble (albeit with a leopard print kicker).
Paris Hilton Yet another monochrome dress from Paris Hilton (albeit a more cleavage-baring one), when she stood before a court charged with cocaine possession in September 2010.
Britney Spears We know that style in LA is laid-back, but we’re pretty sure it’s still de rigeur to dress up – at least a bit – for court. The sartorially hapless Britney Spears fell short of the mark when she wore this patterned dress with brown knee-high boots and a mismatching white handbag to thrash out custody arrangements with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2007.
Naomi Campbell Facing assault charges for allegedly striking her housekeeper Ana Scolavino with her cell phone (a charge to which she later pleaded guilty), Naomi Campbell chose a November 2006 court appearance to debut a new razor-sharp bob. She teamed it with a demure black bow-front dress and black jacket – sparking an international media frenzy.
Katie Price We’ll bet you never knew it was possible for a classic white shirt and black trousers to be a fashion faux pas. Katie Price achieved the nigh-on sartorially impossible when she put a Vegas showgirl spin on the look for a High Court hearing in her libel case against the News Of The World – along with then-hubby Peter Andre – in July 2008.
Paris Hilton Hold up! Paris Hilton swerved from her usual courthouse style in May 2007, shunning her trademark dresses for a smart trousers, shirt and jacket ensemble.
Lindsay Lohan When Lindsay Lohan rejected a plea deal for grand theft at the Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, she raised eyebrows again when she appeared before the judge in a $725 beige leather Raquel Allegra dress.
Kelly Rutherford It’s little wonder that so many celebrities defer to an all-black look when the occasion calls for smart and conservative. Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford joined the club in January 2009 when she attended Santa Monica Superior Court for a child-custody hearing with her estranged husband Daniel Giersch over their son, Hermes. She was four months pregnant at the time.
Lindsay Lohan By the time Lindsay Lohan appeared in court in November 2011 for violating her probation, she had appropriate court dressing down-pat in this Marilyn Monroe-esque spotted day dress. It worked – despite ordering her to serve 30 days in jail, the lenient judge deferred her sentence so LiLo could complete a lucrative shoot for Playboy.
Jemima Khan Jemima Khan followed the magic all-black formula earlier this year when she attended Belmarsh Magistrates' Court with Tony Benn for the highly-publicised extradition trial of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
Chloe Madeley Arriving at Hendon Magistrates' Court in London to hear charges of drink-driving in September 2009, Chloe Madeley wore a sombre black dress teamed with black pumps and an oversized handbag – a smart choice, we think.
